Scheduling is the switchboard through which the critical project management information flows. Daily job reports flow to our full time scheduler where the master schdules in MasterBuilder are updated and scheduling information is packaged and sent to the customer.
Safety is priority number one at Big J. Extensive training, onsite safety officers, daily safety assessments and a top-down commitment have created a safety culture at Big J: IIF - incident and injury free.
Big J's exemplary safety record has resulted in many local and national industry awards.

The Heart of Project Management
Big J customers get the benefit of our experience working in the demanding environment of semiconductor manufacturing. This "no excuses" environment has helped us build robust sytems for project management. At the heart of these systems is our scheduling function. Working with estimating at the inception of a project, each step of the workflow is carefully calculated with an emphasis on coordinating with the customer about the other trades who will be on the project. Our trades supervisors and superintendents have received special training we've developed on job forecasting to insure accurate assessment of progress against plan and any schedule or workforce adjustments necessary to get the job done on time.
We work with a variety of scheduling platforms to be sure we can provide our customers with critical and timely data in a format that is convenient for them. The site and project managers meet regularly with scheduling to make sure the information flow is accurate and complete. Feedback mechanisms are what cause systems to adapt and change. Our scheduling infrastructure gives us the feedback we need to adapt quickly to changing conditions at the workface.
