Big J has been recognized in the community as a company that gives back. CEO Dick Teater serves as Chairman of the 2008 United Way Central New Mexico Campaign.
Community Service
All Big J employees have a variety of means for giving back to the community available to them. The company also has a strategic philanthropy plan to insure its contributions will have the most positive impact. Service is part of the Big J ethic as well as financial support. In 2008 Big J CEO Dick Teater heads United Way Campaign of Central New Mexico.

The Big J seamless philosophy extends to our communities in which we work. A seamless relationship with our community starts with good corporate citizenship including supporting youth, cultural institutions, helping those who have not been as fortunate in life and need ongoing community assistance and helping those communities that have been struck by natural disasters.
